Since July 7, 2008, the commune of Saint-Martin de Ré, on the North Shore of the Island of Ré, is a part, along with 11 other French sites, World Heritage of Humanity.
Saint-Martin de Ré has now joined the prestigious club of cultural Heritage UNESCO World as well as the Great Wall of China, the Mont Saint-Michel and the Chateau de Versailles ...
